Software industry awareness on sustainable software engineering: a Brazilian perspective

Sustainable computing is a rapidly growing research area spanning several areas of computer science. In the software engineering field, topic has received increasing attention in recent years, with studies addressing range concerns. However, few have demonstrated awareness practitioners about underlying concepts sustainability development practice. this effect, study aims to provide some evidence regarding practitioners’ perception adoption development, under four main perspectives: economic, social, environmental, and technical. previous work, we carried out preliminary survey twenty-five engineers who work domains.
